The thermal pot makes hot coffee in 60 seconds. Keeps coffee hot for about 2 hours in the thermal pot. Long term concern is the lifespan of the warming element in back, but wont know until it eventually dies.

Really like this coffeemaker. It's because of bunns reliability and consistency in producing a very good cup of coffee. This is my third bunn thermal design coffee maker.

The reservoir tank always is the perfect temp. Turn it on and let it heat up the water then i launch the brew.

Hot water disperser pushes grounds over the filter holder and they drain into the thermos. Any stainless tumbler works better. It's mostly not manufactured in the usa.

The carafe is messy. Tried cleaning it. Didn't work. That was refurbished. Linda sure hope we can fix this gift.

It seems that the coffee pours grounds out of the filter, and that clogs up the entrance to the carafe. It pours over the coffee in three minutes. Water flow at high rate causes basket to fill too high with high coffee grind level.
