Pros

It's both automatic (self winding) but can be wound by the stem as well. It has a very reliable miyota automatic movement, with a nice sweeping second hand.

The 38mm case wears very well on the wrist. The dial is on the small side, which is sort of a relief from the oversized wristwatches. My only gripe about the watch is actually the band.

The strap is made of supple leather. The packaging is gift quality. The power reserve is great for a watch in this price level. The only flaw is the leather strap.

The bulova hack is a great example of the wwii field watch. The dark background version is the more faithful design as the original milspec specifically called for that. The watch is compatible with wwii and hamilton.

Cons

Tritium luminosity is so faint as to be almost useless. My omega has the same ailment. The band is cheap and garbage.
