Pros

This is especially a great watch if you can snag one below msrp. La correa se la encargué a 86th leather co, que al parecer son de muy buena manufactura. I hope the strap holds up.

This isn't a problem for me since i switch out for a deep blue commander diver with flat tritium at night. Band is throwback to the 40s. Reserve is accurate and the ability to wind up is a huge bonus.

Sapphire glass protects the watch from the rough edges of the cockpit.

Sharp style, legible numerals. The dial is well printed and like the fact that the numbers are printed in white and not a faux patina. The winding is smooth, the crown engages with a nice firm click.

Cons

The 4 o'clock dial has too little resistance so the subdial inside the watch is always turning. The seconds hands can jump when setting/hacking, and in normal operation lag. The lume is extremely poor.

I’ve bumped and banged the sapphire crystal into sharp metal objects and i am still scratch free

For 300 some odd dollars this is an incredible deal

Again if you can get this for 300 some odd dollars go for it but i wouldnt pay more than 400

At original msrp this watch is highly overpriced especially with the miyota movement

Getting it for half full price and 40 of usual sale price was great

This appears just as a pilot would have received back in 1945 right out the box
