Pros & Cons

Pros

Great for edging. Worked great to cut a trench to slide 5” edging in to keep mulch in our garden beds. Used this to trench in underground landscape lighting cable.

Well crafted. Seems very sturdy. Quick shipping also.

Works like a champ. I'm not sure why the others had a problem with theirs, but my worked like a charm.

The front step ledge works great for forcing it into the ground. That's the way it is with field plows too. One of the handles slips and rotates on the pipe but not a big deal.

Cons

First the handle bent, then the blade. The metal is too flimsy for its intended use. It’s a little wimpy.

After trenching down to 634 i used a strong thin board which was marked to 534 to push the wire to the bottom so the plugger didnt cut into it

Unlike a lot of options i saw in the gardening center at a local store this is put together well and doesnt feel like it will fall apart after a small amount of use

Additionally the part that one puts their foot down on to drive it into the ground is actually wide enough to use

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Cons maybe my ground was just too hard but it seemed like the tool just isnt sharp enough or something or otherwise needs a different edge

The edge for the foot is nice but i had such a hard time cutting through the sodground i had to try to balance myself on it while jumping or rocking backforth
