Pros

Zhivago is a very good ink. It writes smoothly and beautifully in my sheaffer targa. I used a music nib to make the sample with this review.

The new books have a thinner paper. It seems a little thinner and feathers more. It is exactly as described. It lays down smoothly leaving clearly formed letters and words. It goes on clear & stays that way.

No complaint at all. Will be purchasing more in the future. When the is spread out a little more, you see that it isn't black but is rather a shade of green that's so dark that's hard to find in nature.

I test the noodler's no feather and borealis black ink on the worse paper like staples true red steno notebook, the ink stay well on paper regardless of nib size. It is as good as all noodlers inks are, but just fyi it is really dark if used in a foun... Read More

Cons

The ink was filled to within 1/8 +/- of the top of the bottle. It feels as if the ink is diluted somehow. It writes pretty smooth but it leaks ink poodles every now and then.

Horrible product. Extremely disappointing. It fails that basic test. Matter of fact, it performs worse!

Packaging/appearance

Beautiful packaging effective and worth the money

So much so that i have yet to get one of the ink well cups into the bottle

Maybe its the color of foliage in the glomming

This helped slightly but i was still not impressed so i settled on trying a different ink despite having an still very full 60ml bottle

The boxed bottle arrived in a small bubblewrap sleeve inside a padded amazon envelope with fragile stickers

While it is not a blueblack it is more of a dark blue with a lean to black
