Yes there is a pin you can insert for the same effect but it doesnt close the handle as far as i would like and the springpin for removing the handle is too much of a pain

My shearer was also poorly machined from the factory and the bar couldnt fit into the main board as it was machined 2mm off

Was missing a screw for the guard and no instructions included

Get rid of the pin that locks the handle down because mine got in were the blade comes down and cracked the blade on the edge

So i cut a piece of the cheap armstrong laminate just to see how it worked and it left a rough edge because the top layer is so thin and it’s base layer is made of cheap partical board
