Pros
Works fine on the jeep wrangler soft top. Works great for my pelican kayak. Easy to strap down.
Simple, economical, and does the job without complications. Reasonably priced package.
Cons
The straps come undone with a little tug. Just go buy some foam and real ratchet straps. Also on of the straps would not tighten.

You need to pull the straps really tight to minimize vibration

As long as you tighten the straps tight really squishing the foam blocks its not going anywhere
