Pros
The locking mechanism is just the right amount of resistance. The blade also has a very positive open lock with the release on the top of the handle. Opens easy and locks shut & open very solidly.
This has to be the sharpest knife out of the box ever. Fast and easy to sharpen. Holds an edge very well after use cutting open cardboard and using on manila rope regularly.
Gave to my son as a christmas stocking stuffer. Clip is well placed so the knife sits down in the pocket, unexposed.
Cons
The blade on the 288 sent to me was slightly wobbly. It should have a great factory edge, now i have to try to sharpen it. Poor design and low quality locking mechanism.
The fast assisted opening is pointless if you consider that you also have to take time to unlock this style of knife.

The knife is very good the only thing is the spring is cheap and breaks very easily ive bought three and they all had the same problem

Sharp knife and spring assist if very strong can flip out of hand if you dont have a good grip of the knife always my go to knife all around

I left the pocket clip on even though i found a nice belt sheath pouch to keep my knife in
