Pros & Cons
Pros
They are effective at absorbing sound, with a tested nrc of. That requires much thicker material, but they do a good job on mid to higher-frequency sounds. My neighbors are so loud that any reduction in noise is a blessing. Seems slightly quieter.
Customer service is superb with fast response. But wasn't a dealbreaker to me personally. Pretty good price overall also.
The taper on the ends is a bit annoying. Hot glue works awesome for permanent install. I also believe there may be some benefit to the airgap the double sided tape creates.
The best part is the cutting. They are completely curable with a razor blade. A large paper cutter is how i install these.
Cons
Every footfall from above echoes terribly in this room. The material is also difficult to cut, so i couldn't trim it around a light fixture or vent. Packages don't do anything to reduce the echo in a room.
Highlights

Quality feel great adhesion and they bring a really cool look to the room
Paired with the other paneling conversations cant be heard and a vacuum sounds like a dull whirr
Of corse i have to turn the hvac down so it doesnt kick on and destroy the sound quality of this room
Packaging/appearance
I tried to hide these ones in inconspicuous places but its a little disappointing that 2 of the 24 tiles were damaged right out of the box
Take all the tiles out of the packaging and stack them
Competitiveness
We tried a box knife and xacto knife but it didn’t really matter
A large paper cutter is how i install these mine is a 15in 30sheet wescott
Actually its quite a bit like a 5500k to 6000k white
