Update damai reached out and explained they have a new version of this product in which they have changed the elastic used

They shipped me a new version of the product and i can say after a week of using it that the new version doesnt seem to suffer the same failings as the original

After light use of the organizer the elastic straps that wrap around the outside of the product are already starting to fray and come undone

Its unfortunate that the elastic on the outside is failing with such a consistent rate per the other reviews

Instead of a wad of cables in the free plastic bag i just pulled this out and sent it through the scanner
