This valve will completely stop the flow rather that letting it dribble like some other valves of this type

The second thing that i had concerns about was whether the water would change temperature after shutting it off momentarily and then turning it back on

This can happen in an rv when the cold water forces its way back down the hot water line due to a pressure imbalance and i had planned to install a check valve on the hot water line if necessary
