I tried white gaffers tape it didnt leave a mess either but it did not stretch so it bunched up in the turns

Gaffers tape also looked so dirty after a couple of days that it wasnt very light colored anymore

I tried white duct tape it left yuck on the floor and it also didnt stretch it was the worst for this

However when moving chairs andother things over it the tape gets ripped and torn and peeled backquite easily

I cleaned the floor only swept well did not mop and applied the tape

The tape comes off the roll like duct tape it doesnt have a peelaway backing

It does pick up dirt quickly shoe prints
