They arent made of reflective material so if the leds are turned off the visual impact is minimal

Also as a female runner because of everything you read in the news i also like that they dont give an attacker anything to grab if that should happen because its a slap band it will just come right off

One thing that struck me as odd is that it has a metal button with a hole on one side that looks like its a socket to a button as in the kind that you use to keep your coat buttoned but theres nothing on the opposite end of the bracelet that would be used for that purpose
