Dont use bare foot unless you want to spend 2 mins hopping around swearing a lot when a few embers drop out

Get some sturdy gloves despite the heat shield the unit is hot to pick up

The only thing i would add would be a thumb notch on either side of the top end of the handle so you can maintain a horizontal orientation when pouring fire out otherwise you end up with your handarm over the hot flames

The price is ridiculous and i dont see why youd need to buy a more expensive version
