Very pleased with the purchase. The sturdiness of the item. Nice sturdy piece.
The hinge latch keeps the door in place without any major movement. Much better than the ones from home depot or lowes.
These are perfect for stopping doors. Stop doors in their tracks before hitting my freshly painted walls. Not damaging the paint at all.
These look great with my white baseboard. Fits perfectly with other black fixtures. The black looks so clean and modern, and matches my hinges and knobs.
Cons
The package had moisture and mold in it. Several tiny holes leaking water. Average build and quality.
End caps are not glued on. They come right off, easily being a choking hazard for little ones. I would not recommend this product for a home with crawling babies.

Once i figured out why the screw is separate from the base it was a snap to assemble and install
