The construction is just like the original. Great replacement piece for a reasonable price. It fits my dyson 25 perfectly and is taking up dirt much better.
Cons
Dyson is well engineered, so get original equipment, not a designed for product. Roll no longer works.

The genuine dyson part is metal where these are made of plastic
