I needed a comfortable walking shoe for a June visit to NYC where I knew I was going to be walking a LOT, and I did. I wear a size 10 which I purchased and they fit perfectly and snugly. Nice cushiony foot bed, light-weight, breathable mesh that nicely ensconce your feet. I walked 10-15 miles the first day (this is way more than usual) and I will say that I developed tendonitis on the top of my left foot. It became quite painful to continue walking. I looked this up (extensor tendonitis) and found it could be due to tight-fitting shoes so I loosened the laces on that foot. This hugely improved the pain and allowed me to continue my trip. I still wear the shoes but keep the laces loosely tied and simply slip them on and off like loafers. Even loosely tied, they fit snugly and comfortably. I wear them a couple of times a week when I walk to work and in the seven weeks or so I've owned them I notice the soles starting to wear down. At this rate, I expect them to be worn flat or completely through by next summer. This is about the lifespan I predicted for the price. I recommend these shoes but don't expect them to last long if you walk a lot.   Read Less
