I double checked that this battery was the cause of the issue by swapping the old one back in

The battery connector is slightly off meaning you have to pull the wires from their rail so it will fit not a big deal but that is my experience

Note in my video i tried it in my mid2010 macbook pro also a1286 and it will not fit
