Pros & Cons
Pros
To me that's not enough to discourage purchasing this tent. Puppy, which destroys everything, loves this tent and does not try to rip it up.
No more handling heavy fiberglass poles like my eureka has. Two larger than most diameter aluminum poles go up quickly and then the tent clips to the poles. I prefer the clip-on tent-to pole connections that this tent has as the sleeve and fiberglass ... Read More
Vestibule and raincover cover the entire thing. This thing is waterproof like a pool liner. No leaks. Top of the rain fly did not leak.
The zippers are kind of difficult to get to if fully zipped down. Both doors have mesh and also are covered for privacy. This one has one zipper that closes the bottom of the door.
Straight-walled sides make it feel super roomy. Wife's idea of camping is the atrium at embassy suites.
Highlights
Quality
Overall im very satisfied with the tent
Great quality tent and some very nice design features
In the tent bag was a card to call alps brands if you had any issue with the product
I am extremely pleased with the comfort durability and ease of this tent and if it ever dies i will buy the exact same tent to replace it

I will find out in the next couple days if this thing leaks and needs the seams sealed
Competitiveness
I used a tiedown on each side of the tent and feel that the tent stood up to the wind great
Winds of 60 mph and several gusts estimated by the weather service of 80mph
The reason for a 4 star rating is the outside cover ripped at the center tiedowns points on both sides
I think this is unacceptable for a brand new tent in this price range
