Pros & Cons
Pros
The pillow flap is great. Even if you just drape it over you, it’s big enough that it won’t gap awkwardly off you while you sleep. Tucks well into the carrying case.
For the tropics, this is a little warmer than i need, but i am looking forward to trying it in cooler climes. Keeps the sleeping bags clean.
This liner is large enough to not feel constricted. I'm not very tall so the footbox was never constricting. Can be made to be much closer to just over 4 ounces with a few modifications such as ditching the stuff sak and the plastic pull cords.
Some versions this company makes are cotton silk blend. The thread-count (weave) of the material looks to be about half of what i see with typical silky smooth sheets and pillowcases.
Cons
It feels ore like cheap polyester or nylon. Material is also a bit scratchy. Will be returning.
The material is very clingy. The seams are not stretchy at all and its really flimsy. It's certainly lightweight, but i hate the way the hood is shaped and the drawstrings work and are placed. It doesn't clothe you.
Highlights
Quality
Since those are things that i can easily do myself i still definitely recommend this product
Im very happy with this sleeping sack
The only issue is that i bought the large size with the extra compartment for a pillow which i did not really use
Get rid of the ball figure out how to add a foot vent for us weirdos who have to stick a foot out when theyre sleeping this is... Read More
Price
Its simple and the price is quite lower than the listings colored silk bags
Competitiveness
This did the trick at about half the price of namebrand items from speciality stores
I went a on a tour du mont blanc backpack hike
Ironically this low cost natural silk bag is significantly lighter than any synthetic fabric competitor i could find
As it is there is a 1934 unsewn portion on both sides

My primary issue is that without it anchoring to anything on the bed nor a sleeve for the pillow you wake up pretty twisted up in the slippery material

However despite the description this thing was electric with static which makes me a little suspicious that this is “100” silk
