Pros
This is a little warmer than i need, but i am looking forward to trying it in cooler climes. Nice to have something to cover up with and cover the mattress with in the hostel but loose, light and not hot.
This is lighter than the listing states. Despite what some reviewers claim, i believe this is real silk. Really like how the top is extended to wrap around a pillow.
The liner is tiny and light, great when backpacking, but very roomy inside. I'm not very tall so the footbox was never constricting. Purchased two of the liners for an upcoming 12 day walk on the camino de santiago.

Since those are things that i can easily do myself i still definitely recommend this product
I used this at a hotel with the air conditioning running
On warm nights it worked alone or with the sleeping bag unzipped as a quilt
On the coldest nights i ended up with the liner and bag hoods over my head

Its simple and the price is quite lower than the listings colored silk bags
Competitiveness
This did the trick at about half the price of namebrand items from speciality stores
I went a on a tour du mont blanc backpack hike
Ironically this low cost natural silk bag is significantly lighter than any synthetic fabric competitor i could find
As it is there is a 1934 unsewn portion on both sides

My primary issue is that without it anchoring to anything on the bed nor a sleeve for the pillow you wake up pretty twisted up in the slippery material

Its not a fleece or wool linereasy to clean with gentle cleaningsilk will feel yucky in warm humid weather i can use this silk liner year round but if there is too much moisture in the air i can remove it and use a light fleece or no linerfor winter camping i add a ul down blanket to provide insulation in cold spots it provides more coverage for when temps dropwith proper gear i have slept with this silk liner my 23°f sleeping bag 2 insulated sleeping pads one of them with down down to 20°f
