I am generally tech savvy but I could not get this hooked up to my wifi even with a temporary USB hookup. I tried and tried. I finally had to call Brother. It was a long, tedious process. I had to put in my wifi password on the printer itself. My password is fairly complicated, so putting it in was an unpleasant task since there is, of course, no keyboard on the printer. I had to make my way through small letters and caps and numbers, saying OK for each. Ugh. I knew all of my connection information, but it did not take it without going through a different process than shown in the setup info. I could not have done it without calling Brother.On the other hand, they were easy to get on the phone and they did walk me through until everything worked. It took a second call since getting the wifi connected was not all that was needed. Since the wizard did not initially work, the software for using the scanner was not installed.It seems to print and scan just fine now.  Read Less
