Hes 7 pounds and more or less a medium sized cat at least part oriental shorthair breed if i had to guess if this helps any as far as his build and whether or not you feel this collar will fit your cat but i honestly think the collar has enough holes in it fit any of a wide variety of cats

Note that the collar does not come with a bell but those are cheap enough

We purchased the coastal pet products dcp45105 3pack lil pals round dog bells 12inch silver from amazon which produce a very loud jingling sound which absolutely helps as far as pinpointing the location of your feline and are probably good to have around in case the existing bell on your cats collar falls off this has happened to us with the rogz collars before
