This is not the broan / nutone 41f filter that is unfortunately way overpriced at $18.

Same seller and listing. Apparently the original kind (which is pictured) is hard to find. Replacement style is lighter weight and has the screening only on one side.

    Then i read a review by user rian and see that he had a similar problem when buying a filter from dubious sellers but received better from amazon

    This particular filters manufacturer should be microtek and it should have the blue poly filter thats charcoal infused on the back that faces your hoods fan and not just the cheaper black carbon filter as many of the posted knock offs have

    Unless you setup you range hood with a vent the efficiency of going ventless is compromised
