Pros

Spent some time researching a black range hood to match our new black stainless steel appliances. The old one still works but started to rust out. Although they don't make 'em like they used to, other than the dent, it's quite presentable.

Good economical nonducted model. It looks nice, finger smudges wipe off easily. Nice design and color. Slim fitting, good light.

Works exactly as expected. Works well.

Easy to install. Needed to washers to keep the keyhole openings attached to the cupboard above. Other than that, easy peasy.

Cons

Every single thing about this range hood is a downgrade from the awesome quality broan qt230bc under cabinet hood that preceded this garbage. Everything is cheaply made. This thing is just there for decoration at best.

This product is 100% worthless as a recirculating vent hood. Smoke is everywhere when this thing is on, even on the “high” setting the smoke just billows and lingers around the stove. No suction is and always has been non-existent.
