The downdraft works very well and i am happy with it and normal installation would be a breeze

I used this with the existing dacor remp3 remote blower which worked well onoff and speed controls work fine

I had the repairman out he tried to pull it out damaged the top panel waited for a part that never showed up finally replaced it

Inside the packing was in peices and the vent was bent and parts where everywhere

So return wanted a new one so the second one the box was in good shape but when i opened the box it looked like it was thrown down a hill so i sent it back the second time and spent real money on a much better one

If the downdraft motor assembly did not stick out towards the range i could have mounted it where it should actually be but now it is 1 12 further back
