Pros & Cons

Pros

My only concern is with the thermostat. It puts out a ton of heat. Great replacement for my 1981 in wall electric heater.

Instructions are a little sketchy as to size of opening so measure the case before cutting any drywall and be sure where studs are. Overall, it seem like a good product. Lot of bang for the buck.

Cons

The thermal overload switches and the circuit beaker switches break all the time. The thermostat is a joke, as other users have reported. The reset button is in the worst place, difficult to reset.

Awful heater. Front face place basically just balances on using just the area aroud the temp controller. Knob on pices is * grey material. Have not turned heater on yet, but disappointed with grey knob.

I believe this was a returned and refurbished item even though i paid full price. Only the guts need to be switched out of the casing instead of trying retrofit the wall for another manufacturer. Replaced with oem part still fails on both.

The builders report broan - nutone is beyond worthless! Broan / nutone has major manufacturing quality control problems and design issues.

We bought it because it is manufactured by a well known mfr so if we need replacement parts in the future they will probably be available

Know that you will need to have 220 power run to the unit not regular 110
