Pros

The led lights have 3 levels of brightness and are very bright on the highest setting. Their coverage is good as well, covering the entire stovetop.

Noise at full bore is loud-ish, but you don't have to shout over it or anything. Twin centrifugal blowers ('squirrel cage blowers) reduce the noise substantially. Better than the unit it replaces.

They give you hanging brackets for installing the hood. The instructions assume the space is the appropriate size, telling you to use the provided bracket as a measuring device from the edge of the cabinet. There are mounting brackets which we weren't... Read More

The dual fans provide plenty of suction out in all three levels of operation. The two lower fan settings are even quieter. The blower 'fans' can be removed for thorough cleaning as necessary.

Cons

This one is much lower quality than the last and harder to install. Tried to isolate them to reduce noise but still audible constant hum. This is unacceptable for the price of these things.
