Pros

The dual fans provide plenty of suction out in all three levels of operation. The noise at full bore is loud, but you don't have to shout over it. Much quieter than my old single fan unit.

Led lights have 3 levels of brightness and are very bright on the highest setting. Their coverage is good as well, covering the entire stovetop. Lights up my stove very nicely.

This unit meets and exceeds my expectations. It works like a champ. Could not be happier.

Ez unit is easy to install with the help of the ez bracket. Installation is a 2 person job. The installation is not too bad, but i wish the unit did not require disassembly to get to wire it.

Single power button allows you to turn it off all at once rather than cycling the fan/light * through any remaining power settings. Ther are different settings for the lights and fan and there is a timer.

Cons

This one is much lower quality than the last and harder to install. Tried to isolate them to reduce noise but still audible constant hum. This is unacceptable for the price of these things.

This is a great hood and great value for the money however the packaging is not sufficient to ensure it isn’t damaged in shipping

Competitiveness

So when we recently bought a new gas range we decided to get a new vent hood as well and bought this broan model

Much much happier with this broan unit
