Pros

It has 2 round lights with changeable bulbs. The blower is quiet and the lights are bright. Great lighting and quite operation.

Black stainless steel appliance matches lg appliances well. Two huge charcoal filters are a must if you do not have duct work.

This is sleek replacement for my old range hood that had a missing damper. It has enough suction power with three settings. We use the range hood every day (both the lights and the exhaust) and it's doing great so far.

Has lots of suction power at a reasonable noise level. Fan is like 375 cf so it definitely has some good suctions power. Fan works fine, noise is not obnoxious.

Level 3 is noticeable, but not too loud. Highest setting is loud but does the trick if you burn something. There are 3 levels for the fan and the 3rd level is the loudest.

Cons

Dented, lights not working, screen bent. Filters are as flimsy as they can be. Mount tabs are distorted after taking on and off once.

Which brings me to quality of build

It made the hood stand out too far from the wall and would not align with the brackets so was forced to hardwire in the range hood

The design and quality is about middleoftheroad but should easily last 25 years if taken care of

Overall this is a great hood and is well worth the price

I tried to use the broan electrical plug connector which didnt work

But i would have to say that it’s quite a bit quieter than the 12 year old broan hood i took out

I purchased another broan vent at triple the price for my personal residence and i wish i got this one

The easy install brackets were harder to use than the predrilled holes

The higher the fan speed the higher the noise
