The pros improves tremendously your passive safety by giving you very wide angle view and minimizing the blind spots being slightly convex it minimizes reflections from the headlights of the cars behind you enables eye contact with children in the back seat without the need for inefficient additional mirrors

Con you cant use the flip function or lose the autodim function of your oem mirror at night for me though this is far compensated by its advantages
