Pros

This alarm uses the same exact bracket and hardwire plug as the last one installed by the builder. It fix my existing twist mount so easy installation. Works great, very quick delivery.

Cons

I am befuddled by the number of positive reviews here. These are fragile items that should be shipped in a box.

There is some type of very sticky foam tape that protrudes radially from the base of the sensor. It appears that this is because the * on the sensor just don't protrude far enough radially to ensure a solid engagement.

Easy to install and replaced the exact sizing of my old fire detector

It seems separate co and smoke alarms are being phased out in lieu of a combined cosmoke alarm unit

Found out at 5 am that the 5 chirps every 45 seconds or so meant 34end of life34 for co alarm
