The vapor does not go straight up into the air so you have to be careful of what is around it

Please be sure to read the directions you have to hold down the power button to get it to start

Just hold the button down until the light comes on and then to change colors you just click the light button again

Also this diffuser omits a very light stream so having a fan on will disperse it and not concentrate it in one spot
