Ive had this britta dispenser for a solid 10 years and it just now has its first small crack at the bottom rear and is leaking very slowly

Not only that but the water tastes great unlike the chicago river or lake michigan water

But it suffers from three inadequacies 1 it takes 23 fillups of the top chamber to fill the unit so you have to come back to it several times over the course of 15 minutes

I wouldnt hesitate to buy this again and i would highly recommend this over the pitcher but it seems clear the design could be improved

Had to buy a new one because the previous one cracked when it was dropped by a roommate

I used to have just the regular pitcher but i got sick of constantly filling it up or more realistically going to get water and seeing that someone else forgot to fill it
