Easy to install but must follow instructions in regards to flushing the filter through prior to using it. Main concern is that it seems completely impossible to find anywhere that recycles the old cartridges.

These filters have to be replaced regularly and they are quite expensive so i shop around

Water just doesn’t taste the same once you’ve used a brita water filter

You must take the initial water pressure off the old filter before it will detach

If you dont release the pressure then pulling off the old filter is almost impossible to do

I waited at the customer services desk at the local tesco superstore which was shown on the company‘s map as being a recycling point only to be told that they did not accept them and never had accepted them

It didn’t seem worth driving around the town in my diesel car trying to find somewhere to recycle the cartridges so in the finish i just had to throw the cartridge away in the ordinary bin i’m afraid
