In re to the reviewer who had trouble with the application rate changing tighten down the bolt that goes through the little spring and is used to connect the handle to the control rod on mine i actually had to loosen this bolt to decompress the spring a little because it was so stiff that it didnt move easily

Do a small practice run on your driveway first than sweep it up and return it to the hopper or you could turn around to look and find that half the fertilizer is used up after only two passes

The first is that the lever that opens the hopper is a bit hard to reach sometimes
