Pros

It brews a consistent cup of coffee at 203 degrees fahrenheit (every time) and brews an entire, 8 cup carafe in under 5 minutes. The maker comes with a metal reusable cone filter, but i use brown paper cone filters instead.

The one and only qualm i have is the warming plate. Overall, i like teh coffee maker, though it is ridiculously expensive for what ot is and does.

Cons

Reviews history indcates too many carafe, plastic odor and taste, flimsy construction. However my carafe cracked, it’s extremely fragile. Poor results for 1/2 carafe of coffee.

The initial pause is very short. Did not work. Very unfortunate. It only stays on for 30mins!

Taste is weak, shallow. It seems like a mold trap and that grosses me out. No matter how much i cleaned it, or ran vinegar thru it, the taste continues. If anything should change your mind about purchasing this coffee maker it is that you cannot remov... Read More

Calling brims customer service is futile. They outsource customer service so your 2-year warranty is totally useless.
