Highlights
Quality
Lovely clear writing style and i love the wee quips about life interfering with the bread making
It combines step by step recipes with the science of ingredients meaning you get some amazing loaves of bread
It’s written in an engaging way with the author explains his interest in bread going back to his granny in the shetland isles
For example with the stilton chutney braid it suggests making this on a floured surface and then transferring to a tray
Competitiveness
The book shows great photographs to ensure you have the correct technique consistancy of dough and has easy to follow recipes
Ignore this just make in the tray the dough is sweet enough that it’ll soak up flour and leave you with a braid attached to your worktop
My friend is an expert breadmaker and she is raving about the book

None of this nonsense of recipes that nearly work presumably to make you think how clever the writer must be to produce the results in the photos
