This is a bit confusing to me the packaging says that there is a built in lithium ion rechargeable battery built in but when i checked out this device there seems to be a mismatched box to this item

I took the batteries out and used a usb cable included and there is no light showing red or green for charging and charged and the lights do not work without the aaa batteries installed

These lights work very well but there is some confusion with the packaging and it took me a while to realize this but they are not rechargeable via built in lithium ion battery

I think the box description and the description for these lights are a little misleading or incorrect
