Holds basically 5 shirts or 5 jeans or a mix of smaller kids clothes essentially you have 5 bars so its not holding a ton of clothes but it has held 5 wet bath towels without issues

They are installed in the laundry roomone probably within a foot of the ceiling where it can still be folded upwards
