Pros

It is sturdy and the three brightness options are good. I just wish one light setting is more brighter. The bulb in this lamp gets very bright. The base is heavy and sturdy.

Cons

This lamp is not dimmable, despite being described as being dimmable multiple times. Unless it is built with both a dimmer switch and a 3-way switch, then it is not dimmable it just has 3 brightness levels.

Cheap china trash. Flimsy, doesn't stay tight at the bottom. What a shoddy design. My 20+ years old floor lamp looks better then this one and is sturdier.

Brightech is one of those shady sellers that prominently places a card in the box asking you to contact it first. Keeping it due to the hassle of returning it.

When assembled, the crown of the bulb is visible above the rim of the shade. Piece to stabilize shade was not included. The shade is flimsy cheap plastic like a pet's cone-of-shame.

Competitiveness

I now have three similar style floor lamps from brightech three different models and love them all

Ive had similar products from china that were not well thought out easily stripped potmetal threads etc

I am pretty sure that it has something to do with the switch as i also tried a brand new bulb in it
