Pros

Three brightness options are good. Enough light for watching tv and brighter for working on computer. The base is sturdy and the shade disperses light well. I just wish one light setting was more brighter.

The materials are still inexpensive, but that keeps the price down. Great gift for college students, and young new homeowners. Overall i am quite satisfied with the lamp.

This lamp, although aesthetically pleasing, has extremely poor design. My 20+ years old floor lamp looks better then this one and is sturdier. The lamp is also very skinny so it just seems a little flimsy.

When assembled, the crown of the bulb is visible above the rim of the shade. Piece to stabilize shade was not included. The shade is flimsy cheap plastic like a pet's cone-of-shame.

Brightech is one of those shady sellers that prominently places a card in the box asking you to contact it first before returning to amazon. Keeping it due to the hassle of returning it. Returned and purchased a lamp from another seller.
