Pros
This is a very affordable and useful item not just for auto mechanics. It works well, much better than the 'brick' of the headlamp that i have been using.
Lights up very, very bright and it also shines very wide. The light is bright and easy to manipulate. Hands free, bright, adjust to different angles and can dim.
Cons
One side has a bad connection which causes intermittent failure. The hinges allowing the light to be directed up or down are loose, so the lights keep pointing down.

Im not sure why anyone would use the low beam setting and since the high beam is the first to click on thats the only one i use

Just bright enough for me to see a few feet ahead of me but not so bright that it could blind a driver passing by

Its dark in the work area and when i turn on the neck light if the battery is dead id much rather go get two new batteries out of my battery storage box and continue to work on replacing the plug

If i had purchased a rechargeable light i would need to plug it in a wait an hour to use the light

Since i don’t have a backyard i have to them on a leash and using a hand held flashlight was difficult with 2 dogs
