All the supplied gaskets fit perfectly. Didn't have to take the trimmer to the local mechanic for repair. Had extra parts for alternative setups.

Cleaned carb out, and noticed at that point my oil was compromised (milky and dark) so changed that, same situation. Replaced a 20 year old b & s carb.

Cons

Using the old gaskets is not an option.

This was oem part at a great price

Thanks to a great price quick delivery this genuine correct bs replacement carburetor for the 6

I think this carb was about 20 more than the knock off

Dont even waste your time on the 15 20 chinese carbs

Well next day delivery did not happen

So mine came through amazon warehouse as repackaged

Not sure whose fault it is but i pay for prime membership and was promised next day delivery

Packaging/appearance

So i bought this new after double checking model numbers and it arrived and matched perfectly

Amazon sent it in a padded envelope and the box opened was mashed and the carburetor and all its gaskets were loose in the envelope

All gaskets were included in the box

However as others have said the box it was in was fine for putting on a shelf

Competitiveness

No point buying anything other than genuine briggs stratton when replacing something as crucial as a carburetor

The cheap chinese carburetors did not have the primer circuit that this oem carburetor has
