The kettle is attractive, modern-looking and quite symmetrical. The engineering design is impeccable. It has become my everyday kettle, gladly so.

The footprint is larger than it needs to be. Even with those caveats, it remains the best of the many such kettles i’ve tried. My only complaint is i believe it times out a little too quickly compared to the bonavita.

It is easily customizable for whatever beverage you want. It can be set to different temperatures, depending on the type of tea to be brewed. This product would triumph at pour-over coffee brewing.

With a matte black color, (i like the faux wood finish a little less) it has a beautiful shape. Love the matt black with a brown trim. Has a nice satin black color. Faux wood touches onatte black.

The base gets very * looking very quickly and it does not wipe off easily. The kettle is very thin and tinny, and makes obnoxious noises most of the time because of that. fix the kettle, replace or refund.

It pours great and heats up great but now won't even turn on. Will only heat water up to 147. There was also a very plastic smell coming out of it when boiling water.
