The only tip i would pass on is to make sure that the seal is really snug when you grind anythingnot super tight but tight enough otherwise liquids will leak

I got this to replace a kitchenaid ksb585nk 5speed blender whose motor blew out a few weeks ago

With the kitchenaid i had to first use the ice crush feature repeatedly to break down the bananas sometimes it took almost a minute to break the bananas down to the point where i cant see chunks anymore

After just 1 year that was all the kitchenaid can handle

If i wanted it smoother i believe i couldve use the blend function for a few seconds after the smoothie cycle ended
