I use this kettle to boil tap water so there is normal white mineral buildup on the inside that is near impossible to remove but this is more of a cosmetic issue

Our last one started to make a faint whistling noise as it heated up then finally stopped working at all about a month later

But i wasnt upset at all it lasted almost exactly 2 years to the day after purchaseand that with only a 1year warranty
