Pros

The mattress is very firm, so if you don't like a firm mattress then look elsewhere. I have a waterproof pad on it since my baby likes to play on it and a fitted flannel sheet. I use a waterproof matress cover and sheets on it.

It is just the right firmness so that you don't sink in, but it is still cushiony and soft. It's firm and really helps out my back, personally. Firm, comfortable and no strong foam smell. Shiki futon mattress.

I just wish this was cheaper since i got roped into buying two. Fast shipment and good quality foam. Wasn't too bad, and it's gone completely now.

The 27 width one is still in perfect shape. It works perfectly with my japanese futon mat. This futon is great.

Cons

The smell fades a little with time, but not nearly enough. Pay a few more dollars for something better.
