Undoubtedly good quality and robust construction but if like me you occasionally clean the plug socket with a duster or your shirt or whatevers handy and you use a twisting motion the tip can be inadvertently twisted relative to the ring and metal casing causing the internal soldered connection to the cable wire to rest against the casing thus shorting the signal resulting in one dead lead

I discovered this after id claimed on the lifetime guarantee because i didnt want to invalidate a claim by attempting a repair myself and many thanks to the retailer for replacing the lead without question and not even wanting the old lead returned
