The foam circling the knee hole seems to hold the patella in place. The gel right around the kneecap helps with inflammation of my tendon. Nice brace, but not orthopedic-grade.

It is totally adjustable. It fits true to size. It's easy to put on and adjust and kept my knee very stable and helped the healing process.

If pulled straight around, it creates a wrinkled protrusion. Very hard to disconnect and adjust velcro straps. That circle buckle buckle up and fold up by the knee area as it's soft.
